Zurich’s Oktoberfest will be set in a heated tent beside the Limmat. Visitors can reserve a table or try for one of the limited walk-in places available on most evenings. The festival takes place at Stadthausquai 2, near Bürkliplatz. The tent can accommodate around 800 people and lists Bayern 3000 as the live band.

Regular hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 5 pm–11 pm, with the kitchen open until 10 pm. On Sundays, the festival runs from 11 am–6 pm, with food served until 5 pm.

The separately advertised Pink Monday event on October 19 is sold out.

Oktoberfest In Zurich: Tickets And Reservations

A limited number of walk-in tickets are sold at the entrance from 5 pm on a first-come, first-served basis; they cannot be purchased online in advance. Admission costs CHF 80 per person, including the cloakroom but excluding food and drink. Guests who arrive in lederhosen or a dirndl receive a voucher for one litre of beer and a meal. No walk-in tickets will be available for the special events on October 15 or 19.

Groups can reserve tables for eight or ten people. The advertised packages cost CHF 850–1,200 per table, with admission, food and beer allocations varying by package. Check what is included before booking rather than treating the package price as an entry-only charge.

On Sundays, visitors can book a Bavarian brunch. Switzerland Tourism says that those who do not book brunch can enter the Sunday Frühschoppen for free from 11:30 am without a reservation. The organiser’s separate brunch page still displays 2025 dates, so visitors should check current booking details rather than rely on prices shown there.

Individual places are limited, and a walk-in ticket cannot be reserved in advance. For a particular evening, a table booking is the more certain option.
